Social responsibility and the promotion of sustainability play a key role in the strategy and daily operation of Kentriki Odos. It is our goal to be a company that is an active and socially responsible citizen that contributes as much as it can to society at large. We especially focus on local communities in neighbouring areas, and we use targeted actions and accountability to contribute to a better quality of life. With a sense of responsibility towards each driver and society at large, we have placed road safety at the core of our philosophy. Through the best maintenance procedures and practices for the roads that we manage, and with the provision of quality care services, we try to contribute to the safe travel of each driver on a daily basis. Minimising accidents through targeted interventions and emphasising the promotion of responsible driving behaviour are a top priority for Kentriki Odos and its partners. Another one of our strategic axes concerns the satisfaction of the drivers using the motorway network that we operate, maintain, and manage. To that end we are implementing a Quality Management System that is certified in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. Our people always play a key role in this journey. It is a priority for Management to develop an excellent professional environment with an emphasis on the safety our employees, their continuous growth, and the utilisation of their talents. That is why since 2013 we have been implementing a Health and Safety Management system that is certified in accordance with the requirements of OHSAS 18001. Lastly, protecting and promoting the environment has been a strategic goal of ours and something we have been committed to since our first day of operation.
