The commitment of the company and its management is outlined in its established Policy and in the implementation of the Integrated Management System (IMS) certified in accordance with International Standard ISO 45001:2018 on Health and Safety in the Workplace.
In the framework of implementing the IMS, the company aims to identify and minimise workplace hazards that concern employees and contractors throughout its activities. Furthermore, it has set the right priorities, implements actions and programmes aiming to promote health and safety in the workplace, protect employees, and create a safe work environment for all. To that end, Kentriki Odos sets some quantifiable H&S indicators annually and monitors their implementation, taking suitable preventative action where required.
In addition, it carries out regular H&S inspections, implementing the necessary training programmes, and investing in suitable protection measures to maintain a high level of H&S throughout its facilities. With the support of independent H&S Consultants, Kentriki Odos provides its human resources with the necessary services of a Safety Technician and Occupational Physician, thus ensuring that the health and work conditions of all employees are constantly monitored.
Lastly, the crowning jewel in Kentriki Odos’ commitment, is that it also maintains a personal insurance and medical healthcare programme for its employees.
